The Eagle Has Landed

Thirty nine years ago today, 20 July, 1969, man first steped foot onto the surface of another world. It was the culmination of the efforts of thousands of people bound together by a singleness of purpose. Barely 8 years prior, President John F. Kennedy, in a speech before Congress set the goal of putting a man on the moon and bringing him home safely before the end of the decade.

Now, almost 4 decades later, only 12 men have ever walked on the surface of another world. Perhaps the most significant achievement in human history, the flag of the United States of America is the only flag on the moon.

We should take a moment of pause on this day to remember just how enormous the events of that day were and how they impacted the entire world and how proud we should be that we live in this great country. We should also sit back and reflect on our own goals in life and take a minute to evaluate our progress. Are we on pace to reach our goals in the time set forth at their creation. Do you even have a goal for your life or your business. If not, today is the time to be inspired by the wisdom of President Kennedy when he set such a lofty goal and pronounced it for all the world to here.

Yours in Success,

Dennis
